In alignment with our government’s vision to position Telangana as a leading hub for skilled human capital, Hon’ble Minister of IT of Telangana to announce the establishment of “Skills Training Centers” in every district headquarters as part of the Young India Skills University initiative. The permanent campus at Meerkhanpet is set to offer industry-relevant courses in Pharma, Retail, Logistics & Aviation. Our administration remains committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry to create meaningful employment opportunities for the youth of Telangana. In just one year, we have filled 57,000 government job vacancies, reaffirming our dedication to fulfilling pre-election promises.

Land admeasuring 57.85 acres have been formally allotted by TGIIC and registered in favour of YISU on 16 May 2025. Possession letter and registration documents of the land have been handed over to the Vice Chancellor by TGIIC on 16 May 2025.

Hon’ble Minister of IT of Telangana About Young India Skills University

Visit of Vice Chancellor Shri Subba Rao and Visiting Professor Dr. Sudhakar to AMTZ, Vishakapatnam

A 4- member team from Young India Skills University led by the Vice-Chancellor Sri V.L.V.S.S. Subba Rao visited Mahbubnagar on 12th April 2025 to prepare an action plan for launching an English & Soft Skills initiative for final year degree students of 4 government colleges, namely, MVS Degree College & NTR College, Mahbubnagar, BRR College, Jedcherla and Govt Degree College, Kodangal. The YISU team was accompanied by their professional soft skills trainer team. The programme has been named Mahbubnagar Skills Training for Employment Readiness (MASTER).

Visit of Hon’ble Minister for Industries & Commerce and IT, Government of Telangana on April 7th 2025.

YISU held a Consultative Workshop with Govt Autonomous Degree Colleges on 22 March’25 at Hotel Taj Vivanta, Begumpet. 40 Principals & Vice-Principals of 33 colleges all over Telangana participated. The idea was to examine ways to introduce skill integrated education into the colleges to make students industry ready.

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana led the official delegation, including Hon’ble Minister for IT & Industries and other officials to Singapore ITE College Central, (The Institute of Technical Education) in January 2025. After detailed deliberations, YISU Vice Chancellor VLVSS Subba Rao & Mr Fabian Cheong Deputy Director, ITE Education Services (ITEES) have signed an MoU for partnership in skills development.
