On 05 November, YISU has entered in to an MoU with Mahindra Tech Academy. Together, both would be investing their core competencies for conducting skill based and employment oriented training programmes in the fields of Digital Technology and Logistics. Vice Chancellor, YISU met Secretary, Education ,Government of India on 18th September 2025 and conveyed the need for UGC to revise the regulations on faculty recruitment for Skill Universities to enable them to recruit trainers from industry. This would make for more effective skill education. It was also presented that the AEDP guidelines should carry an exemption for State Skill Universities from NAAC and NIRF stipulations.
